Plaid # 7 I did the plaid in black and white, with bright purple accents on the white side, and bright teal on the black side. It measures 50" X 54" with the border. Star # 8 I designed the Star afghan differently that the others. On all the others I did the side with the light background first. The stripes on the reverse side were just there with no co-ordination. With this one I designed the stripes first, and built the design around them. The result is a much more cohesive striped side. Southwest # 9 The Southwest was another blue ribbon winner. It measures 48" by 64" done on size 3 needles. I think it looks particularly nice on the garden bench my husband made. This is the only afghan I made twice.
